How do live fish survive during courier delivery?
Fish are packed in heavy-duty double poly bags filled with 1 part clean water and 2 parts pure compressed oxygen. The bags are placed in a thick, taped thermocol box that stabilizes temperature and absorbs courier handling vibrations. This keeps fish comfortable for 48 to 72 hours.
Can Fighter Bettas live in a community aquarium?
Male Bettas should NEVER be housed together or kept with fin-nippers like tiger barbs. However, in tanks of 15 gallons (approx 55 litres) or larger with plenty of live plants, male bettas coexist peacefully with peaceful schooling fish (such as Harlequin Rasboras, Neon Tetras, and Corydoras catfish).
What if my fish arrives in poor condition or dead on arrival (DOA)?
We provide a clear Live Arrival Guarantee. If any fish does not make it, simply record an unedited video opening the package and showing the unopened sealed bag within 2 hours of delivery. WhatsApp or email it to us with your order ID, and we will issue an immediate replacement or full refund.
Why is drip acclimation so critical for live fish?
Water parameters vary significantly between different water supplies (pH, general hardness, carbonate hardness, TDS). Drip acclimating over 30 to 45 minutes allows the fish's cellular membranes and gills to adapt gradually, eliminating osmotic shock and ensuring immediate vitality.
What tank size do I need for Fancy Goldfish (Oranda / Ranchu)?
Fancy goldfish grow to 6–8 inches and produce a substantial bio-load. We recommend a minimum of 30 gallons for the first fancy goldfish, and an additional 10 to 15 gallons for each additional goldfish, paired with double-capacity filtration.
